International partnerships


ENSP occupies a privileged position in the police competence unit which brings together a number of institutional partners in the greater Lyon area.

INTERPOL/ENSP: a dynamic partnership

Interpol and ENSP, the two members of the Lyon security unit, have a long-term relationship, formalized in 2005 by the signing of a partnership agreement by Ronald K. NOBLE, Director of Interpol, and Patrick JOUBERT, Director of ENSP.
Ronald K. NOBLE and Patrick JOUBERT were keen to associate their efforts to:

  • promote the service offering of Interpol among national and international bodies using the police training networks in which ENSP participates
  • provide information on Interpol’s resources and services during initial and ongoing training modules and international seminars
  • enable agents of law enforcement departments of member states of the International Criminal Police Organization to benefit from training paths that ENSP implements or to which they contribute

Within the framework of this partnership, Interpol provides an understanding of its databases and information systems and hosts visits to its command and coordination centre by French and foreign students and police officers undergoing training at ENSP. For more information, please visit: .
