From 5 to 9 December 2011, the French Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Police hosted the 3d module of the « policing in Europe » course, a new programme which intends to blend academic and professional learning and pave the way to a future diploma on international police cooperation.

Tackling urban violence

The first CEPOL conference on urban violence was held at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Police from 15 to 18 November 2011. The activity attracted 25 participants from 13 Member States and associate countries.

Prevention of bioterrorism

On October 27-28, 2010, 60 bioterrorism prevention and training experts from around the world gathered at the Ecole Nationale Superieure de la Police to participate in INTERPOL’s Prevention of Bioterrorism Curriculum Workshop for National Police Academies.


In March 2010, the French Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Police in Lyon (ENSP) hosted the first module of the Top Senior Police Officers’ Course “TOPSPOC” , organised with three other national training institutes, members of the European Police College (CEPOL).

The EUROMED II seminar

The French Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Police of Saint Cyr au Mont d’Or hosted a seminar on trafficking in Human Beings and Smuggling of Migrants from 25 to 31 March 2010 in the framework of the Euromed II Police programme.
