The integrated preparatory class

The “prepa-superintendent” course falls under the French Government’s policy of promoting equal opportunity.

Numbers accepted and conditions of entry:

15 to 20 applicants are selected each year on the basis of the following criteria:

  • applicants must hold a full Master’s degree
  • applicants must be motivated and fulfil the conditions required for entry to the competitive examination for superintendent training
  • income: The overall annual gross income of applicants and/or their parents may not exceed €30,000 per year


This preparatory course, carried out by ENSP in partnership with the University of Lyon 3, consists of two sections with a total duration of eight months (preparation takes the form of both written and oral work).
